Our Fairytale Wedding Venue in Portugal
Casa do Adro is not just a wedding venue.
Although our venue is newly opened, we are an experienced team of event manager and wedding planner.
We are limited to 20 weddings each year, so every wedding is one of a kind and gets our full attention from the moment of your booking
until even after your wedding day.
Our Venue combines 270 years of history with mystic gardens, a unique architecture, modern and antique elements in an intimate and private
setting.
Casa do Adro is based about 90 minutes from Lisbon Airport.
The Location
Casa do Adro is the perfect location for incredible photoshoots, giving you and your guests a modern, elegant flair while at the same time feeling like a journey back through centuries of portuguese traditions and the feeling of "home".

Ceremony & Reception
Say “I do” in our mystical fairytale gardens or on the church square with its beautiful view over the hills and vineyards. Enjoy your celebrations with up to 100 Guests outdoor or in the renovated barn and old stables with their wooden beams – perfect for stunning decorations.

Our History
“Casa do Adro” translates as “House at the Churchyard”, due to it's location beside the 13th-century Gothic Mother Church of Sardoal.
Since 1760, Casa do Adro belongs to our family. In the centuries that followed, the family became known for their influence in art, politics and religion.
Today, Casa do Adro continues that legacy as a wedding venue filled with memories, noble elegance and portuguese culture.
It is in this spirit that we welcome you here, to celebrate love in a setting that has carried centuries of stories and various of family weddings. Continue with us the story of Casa do Adro.
About Us
As a german-portuguese couple we gave new life into our historic villa, uniting our love for antiques, our family history and our experience in architecture, gastronomy & events.
In 2021, we married at Casa do Adro ourselves and from that day, the dream of sharing it as a wedding venue was born.
According to your desires, we customize every aspect of your wedding and the days around.
