In order to provide its services, Montes & Ventos, LDA. (“Casa do Adro”) is required to gather certain personal data from its clients. This collection is carried out in accordance with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), set forth in EU Regulation 679/2016 of April 27, 2016, and applied within the national legal framework through Law 58/2019 of August 8.

Montes & Ventos gathers and processes only the information that customers voluntarily and explicitly provide, whether through the forms available on our website (“Contact", "Wedding Date Request"), RSVP submissions, or direct communications with the company. Such data may include, among others: name, gender, date and place of birth, nationality, email, mobile number, address, VAT number, debit/credit card details, and country of residence of the bride and groom. Depending on the service requested, additional data may be required.

Photographs, video recordings, and images of customers taken during the contracted ceremony or event may also be collected, along with information shared through their social media that is relevant to service delivery. However, Montes & Ventos does not collect sensitive or confidential personal data under any circumstances.

  3. Montes & Ventos may contact the guests designated by its clients whenever necessary for the fulfillment of the contracted service or event. Such communication may also relate to organizational matters and/or assistance with their stay in Portugal. For these purposes, Montes & Ventos, directly or through third parties, may collect and process the data strictly required from those guests.

    4. To guarantee high-quality service, Montes & Ventos works in partnership with external entities and may therefore need to share certain client and guest data with them. These entities include, in particular, hotels, restaurants, and other service providers for Events. Any data shared will be handled solely to the extent necessary for the performance of services and always under appropriate security safeguards.

    5. The processing of client data is based on their consent and is carried out in line with the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and transparency, while strictly adhering to the principles of necessity, adequacy, and proportionality.

     

     

    3. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING

    Montes & Ventos collects and uses personal data exclusively for purposes directly connected to the operation of this website, the planning and delivery of contracted services and events, the management and accommodation of clients and their guests in Portugal, direct marketing initiatives, and customer support. All data processed for these purposes is appropriate, relevant, and limited to what is strictly necessary.

    1. While navigating our website, cookies are stored on your device. The data obtained in this way is primarily used to ensure the website functions properly and to enable more effective communication with you, including presenting offers and services tailored to your profile.

The same obligations are required from third parties who handle personal data on our behalf.
